A new early childhood development program, aimed at teaching basic skills to three-year-old children is starting at Our Lady of Mount Carmel this fall, with enrollment now open for the 2023-2024 school year! It will strengthen the school's already established Universal Pre-Kindergarten program (UPK) and is part of Our Lady of Mount Carmel's expanding Early Childhood education initiatives, which our school believes is a critical part of the formation of a strong, academic foundation of the school's growing population of students. Our Lady of Mount Carmel is pleased to offer free UPK! UPK provides four-year-olds with meaningful and enriching learning experiences in a fun and safe environment. Students have the opportunity to develop math, language, and social skills through group and independent classroom experiences. This free, full-day, high-quality, program is available five days per week from September through June.
